All Attributes, or Characteristics, of God are shared equally by all three Members of the Godhead: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are co-equal, co-eternal, and equally Divine. The Three Persons of the Godhead exist separately from one another, but in perfect union and agreement with one another. (Mt 28:19)
Within the Godhead, the Three Persons may be thought of as the Planner (the Father), the Executor (the Son), and the Revealer (the Holy Spirit). This does not imply inequality, rather an agreed upon position within the revelation of God to man. (Jn 14:26, 15:26; 1Cor 15:23-28)
The Five Attributes of Righteousness, Justice, Veracity, Immutability, and Love are considered the "Moral Attributes" of God, because they define His characteristics as related to His moral perfection.
The Five Attributes of Eternal Life, Omniscience, Omnipotence, Omnipresence, and Sovereignty are called the "Non-moral Attributes", not because they function apart from His Perfect Morality, but because they define His characteristics apart from moral considerations.
The Attributes of God have existed completely and perfectly within His Person from Eternity Past, i.e. they have not developed, declined, or improved in their manifestation. His Essence demands that He has always been and always will be the only Perfect Being (Num 23:19; Heb 13:8), and therefore the only One worthy of worship. (Ex 20:3)
The Attributes of Righteousness and Justice are the foundations of the Essence of God, all other Attributes must function within the boundaries of these two. (Ps 89:14) For this reason, these Attributes combined are referred to as His Holiness. Ps 89:35
Righteousness - God is absolute Righteousness (+R), without moral imperfection of any kind. He has no sinful or imperfect qualities. 1Sam 2:2
Justice - God's Attribute that demands all His actions are according to Righteousness. He cannot be unfair or discriminate, nor can he show partiality in any way. 2Chr 19:7
Veracity - the Attribute of Absolute Truth, it deals with the fact that God is the only source of Truth (Ps 31:5), it is impossible for Him to lie or do anything in contradiction to the Truth. Tit 1:2
Immutability - God cannot change in His Essence (Ps 102:27); this fact binds the other Attributes together. It is because we believe that He never changes that we can trust His word and His Plan; this is called "faithfulness". Mal 3:6
Love - Based on affection towards an object based on the character of the Subject, this Attribute is equally present among all three members of the Godhead (1Jn 4:8), and is eternal and unchanging. Mic 7:18-20
Eternal Life - God has no beginning and no end to His existence (Ps 90:2; Rev 1:8), and is the Creator of time and all creation. Heb 1:2, 11:3
Omniscience - derived from the Latin for "all knowing" this Attribute describes the fact that God knows all that was, is or can ever be; He knows that which is actual, probable, and possible (Mt 11:21-24). His knowledge preexisted all things (1Pet 1:20), and He knows every detail of history, the end of all things as well as the beginning. Isa 46:10
Omnipotence - derived from the Latin "all powerful", this Attribute links His Sovereignty with His ability to accomplish His desire. (Jer 27:5) There are some things which God cannot do, but only because they would violate another aspect of His Nature. (Heb 6:18; Js 1:13)
Omnipresence - derived from the Latin "all present", it refers to the fact that God is everywhere, both within and outside the material creation (Ps 139:7-12). This is not pantheism, which says that God is the creation and denies His Person and Personal Nature, rather He penetrates and fills the universe, without diffusion, division, or diminishing (Jer 23:23-24), both immanent (near to all men) and transcendent (outside the realm of normal experience). Ac 17:24-28
Sovereignty - this Attribute defines God's volition (His will or desire), as well as His absolute authority in the universe (Job 34:12-15). All other authorities, human or angelic, are delegated by God (Dan 4:35; Rom 13:1-7). It is God's sovereign will for all men to come to salvation and a knowledge of Him (1Tim 2:3-4), but He allows the free exercise of volition among His creatures, to adjust or not adjust to His decisions. 2Pet 3:9 Isaiah 6:3 "And one called out to another and said, 'Holy, Holy, Holy, is the LORD of hosts, The whole earth is full of His glory.'"
